Running out with great energy and enthusiasm, and spurred on by family and friends, our young Tigers gave their very best from the first to the final whistle, in difficult conditions! Undeterred by being down to only 11 players early in the first half our team showed great grit and determination with some fantastic hit ups, tackling hard, working well for each other, as well as making good metres when we had the ball in hand. It would be wrong to single out anyone player this week, as each and every Tiger deserves a pat on the back.

Let’s all continue with our positive encouragement from the touchline as we head off to Goulburn next week to cheer on our young guns and also make the most of Mother’s Day too! Go the Tigers!

We headed off and were greeted with sunny skies and warmer temps at Freebody oval to take on the Queanbeyan Roos. The weather man got it a little bit wrong and we were wrapped up like Eskimo’s for absolutely no need at all! The boys took to the ground and after we had implemented a little more structure than our first round clash, we had some strong tackles and good line breaks. It was a very hard fought match with a lot of back and forth in the try department. Our player of the week went to Mitchell for really working hard on his defence and completing some unreal tackles.
Well done Mitch!
