A late change in the draw saw us head to Kambah for our match against Tuggeranong Buffaloes Gold team.. the weather really turned it on for an enjoyable Mothers Day Match. Our boys came out keen for a win, Liam opened the scoring followed by a try for Aiden/Big Papa. Buffaloes hot on our tails with two tries of their own. Second quarter was well matched in defence with Hughie slipping through with a great try – his first of 4 for the match. Luca, Geordie and Dom were great in defence and Hugo showed a huge boost in confidence, definitely one to watch as the year goes on. Strong runs by Ollie, Liam and Jay.. Murray and Geordie were absolute machines the whole game. Overall the team did really well at using the whole field and showed excellent communication, sharing of the ball and great defending.. we came away with the win and if the boys can keep it up we are in for a great year! Tries to Liam, Aiden, Hughie (4) and Jay. Goals converted by Jay, Geordie, Luca and Dom.. Man of the match went to Hughie and tackler of the game went to Geordie who had his best game yet!

Mother’s Day: Luckily for all our beautiful mums, we had the privilege of having a home ground clash this week against the Tuggeranong Blue team. This week the boys played extremely well. The difference between our round 1 clash and this week, was phenomenal. The boys are really starting to work together and get the gist of their field position. This week saw some great displays of sportsmanship from all the boys. We are looking forward to having Zac play with us next week for his first run. Our player of the week goes to Zane. He was brilliant in his tackling and he scored some ripper tries. Well done Zane.

Home game for the team in round 3, and a sunny morning which made a great change. Unbelievable game by the boy’s, we only had 6 players, UP against the QBN Roos who had 11 players. This didn’t bother the boy’s, we dominated the Roos for the entire game. Our defence was outstanding, getting better and better every week, only conceded 2 tries. Our attack matched our defence, scoring tries every time we got the ball. Very tough to pick players of the match as everyone played so well. Henry was the player of the match, and Jackson was our stand out in defence. So proud of the boys, and can’t wait to see more improvement this Sunday.

A beautiful sunny day set the scene for the U9 Orange team ready to hit the field against the Tuggeranong Buffaloes U9 Blue.
Captained by Nathan, it was kick off and the team got stuck in. Holding their defensive line and running up to the opposition as soon as the ball hit the first receiver, the boys were delivering on what was practiced at training. It was then time to attack and Kobe shot through the Buffaloes line to score the first try of the game. Everyone was in on the tackles leading to a number of errors from the Buffaloes. This set the team up for plenty of attacking opportunities for the Mighty Tigers, leading to plenty of tries being scored. Kobe x2, Lucas x2 Nelson x1, Nathan x1 with conversions all round- go Ollie! A great time had by all😊
Man of the match went to Joe for 150% effort and 11 epic tackles, Nelson – Tackler of Match and Ollie – Best Team Player of the day – great job boys. See you all next week at Wright Park.🏉
